This is a pattern I made using sticky notes. Four colors were used in the pattern and arranged to form a diamond shaped pattern. Analyze For the assignment I rearranged the sticky notes to create a pattern from the four sticky note colors I used being orange, yellow, blue, and pink. When making the pattern I used shape (Diamond pattern and the Rectangular shape I made from the sticky note pattern ) and color (orange, pink, blue, and yellow sticky notes) to augment the pattern. Interpret In my house, I have a lot of sticky notes. With this, I was inspired to use sticky notes for my assignment as I felt it would be the best for my assignment, with the abundant supply I have at home, the patterns and colors I can make with them, etc. Judge The thing I found most successful about my piece was the pattern . These are three photos of my perspective during the pandemic. I used methods such as the rule of thirds and edited the photos to help elevate it's quality. Analyze When editing the photos, I messed with the properties of the photo such that it's changes complemented the colors within the image. In addition when taking the photo, I made sure to position my camera in a way that would help provides variety for the object/thing I was trying to represent when taking the picture. Interpret With all the chaos that has been happening so far. I felt it necessary to interpret my perspective with what has been happening so far. With my photos, I tried to give my perspective on what has happened during the pandemic Judge The thing I found most successful about my three photos was how I positioned each object when taking the photo using the technique of the rule thirds. From this unit, I learned how to capture and edit a given photo, such that it will help elevate the thing I tried to capture. Describe
This is a drawing portrait of my farther in which I made using a pencil. Analyze When creating the piece I made sure to add value to dark parts from the image I selected to overall try to make the piece more realistic. I tried to incorporate balance into my piece, trying to match both sides of the face with similar eye and ear shape. Interpret I was inspired to do a pencil portrait as I felt comfortable using pencil, having used it in past units in my art class. This evidently made me want to make a pencil portrait in which I did. From my piece, I tried to show my comfort using a pencil, into making my portrait. Judge The thing I find most successful about the piece is the collar in which I felt I used the correct shaping and shading to create it. From this unit, I learned how to create detailed face features by using value and shape. Describe
The piece I made is a painting of a beach that me and my family go to every summer, Myrtle Beach. Analyze The colors I used in the piece were shades of blue when making the the ocean and black for the bridge. In addition I used to brighter colors for the sky, overall match the colors from my piece to the photo. When making the piece, I started making my bridge by first drawing a rectangular shape and ending it with a triangle shape tip. Also when making the sand, I first started out making a triangular shape and added on to it. Interpret I made this piece because I thought it was an important place to me. It overall represented summer and my family. With this, I was inspired to paint the place as I felt it overall represented me as a person, and I felt my piece overall helped highlight that. Judge The most successful thing about my piece was the colors I used as I felt I used them successfully when making my piece.What I learned from the assignment is how to use colors more better and how to create new colors from given ones. 1.The place represented in this picture is the beach me and my family go to every summer, Myrtle Beach. What makes this place so important to me is it reminds me of the summer, and the many vacations me and my family go to every summer.

1. These warm ups helped give me a better understanding of how paint is utilized and how to create colors from given ones and overall helping me work more better with paint
2.I think the Textures(rock,fabric,fur) will help me the most as this warm up will overall help make my painting more realistic. 3. The warm up I learned the most from was the 3 ways to make brown warm up because the warm up helped provide me a variety of ways to mix colors to get the color brown. Overall the warm up helped give me more insight of how colors are created. 4.You can make the color brown by mixing the colors purple and yellow;blue and orange; or red and green. 5.A given color can be toned by mixing the color gray to it |
